White Island An uninhabited white sandbar where the view of towering Mt. Hibok-Hibok and Old Volcan reflects the grandeur the Province of Camiguin has ever achieved. It is reached within 10 minutes through light water transport from anywhere in Yumbing, Mambajao area.

Sunken Cemetery

A large white cross marks a cemetery swept into the sea by Old Vulcan Daan’s eruption in 1871. From here it is a perfect place to watch the glorious sunset over the ocean. It is also an ideal place for snorkeling and diving. An annual fluvial procession is held by townsfolk in honor of the sunken graves of their forefathers and as a thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest.

Lake Apo is a circular rift lake found in Barangay Guinoyoran, Valencia City, Bukidnon province in the Philippines.

It is dubbed as cleanest and greenest inland body of water in Northern Mindanao. It has an estimated area of 24 hectares (0.24 square kilometers) reaching to a depth of 26 meters.

The name of the lake come from the Filipino term “apo,” meaning elder or grandparent. According to legend there was a man living in the mountains who raped his granddaughter and was punished by the mountain deities for his disrespectful act by flooding the area forming the Lake Apo.

Geologically, the lake was formed due to the movement of the Earth’s crust, creating a circular-shaped lake atop the mountain floor.
